Sales Policies, Terms and Conditions: 

By placing an order with Racer X you agree to accept all our terms and conditions of sales, returns, and warranty.

How the ordering process works: 

 We combine ship orders with multiple items for the lowest possible shipping cost. The shopping cart isn't capable of discounting the cost of shipping on orders with multiple items.   Once an order is placed, an order confirmation e-mail is sent without shipping costs.  This e-mail confirms your order was received.   

Order Confirmation, Shipping Costs:

Once your order is processed, a confirmation e-mail will be sent with shipping and the total cost of the order.  If your order can't be successfully processed, we will contact you for further information as needed.  Shipping charges are based on the total weight of the order.

Sales Tax : 

We must charge sales tax when applicable. The shopping cart adds sales tax to orders when applicable.  We will contact you for approval before processing an order subject to tax.  

   Regular Shipments:
All regular shipments are insured for damage and loss.    Orders can not be shipped to P.O. Boxes except by U.S.P.S.  Orders requesting shipment to P.O. boxes are accepted at our discretion only.  Orders shipped to P.O. Boxes will be subject to additional shipping & handling fees as needed to meet U.S.P.S. requirements.  U.S.P.S. shipments have weight, material, and other limitations.  The actual shipper will vary except for P.O. boxes.  Thanks for listening.  

Truck shipments:

Over-sized shipments and truck shipments have optional insurance.  Please contact us for more information.

Payment Terms:  

We accept verified Visa, MC, Discover and debit cards.  All card orders must ship to your billing address on file with the card issuer.  We accept money orders that are fully verifiable by the issuer.  Other forms of payment such as paypal are at our discretion, and additional terms may apply.  We do not accept personal checks or offer open accounts.  For credit and debit card payments, please read the terms in the next paragraph.

All debit, credit card and other applicable orders--ADDRESS VERIFICATION AND FRAUD PREVENTION SYSTEM IS USED ON ALL ORDERS. 

 All credit card orders must be shipped to the card billing address or another authorized address on file with the card issuer.  If you want your order shipped to any address not on file with the card issuer you must have the card issuer add an authorized shipping address to your account before ordering.

We must be able to verify the shipping address with the card issuer or we cannot accept the order.  WE REPORT ALL ATTEMPTS AT FRAUD TO THE F.B.I.

Terms on Special Orders and all KIT orders:

Some items on our site are special order and usually are marked with an "*" (asterisk).    All special orders cannot be canceled once processed, and must be prepaid.  If paying by debit or credit card, all special orders will be charged upon receipt of the order.  All sales are final on any special order items.

Terms on Kits

Kits are offered and ordered complete.  No unused portion of a kit can be returned.  Any kit returns must be approved with a return authorization number issued by us.  Kits must be sealed, unopened and in new condition to be eligible for return.  Thank you for listening.

CANCELED ORDER POLICY:   

A 15% percent fee will apply to any canceled order that has been processed. Once you have received the approval confirmation e-mail, or a debit card etc., has been charged, or we have received funds with instructions to process the order, the 15% fee will apply.

The 15% fee is to cover our clerical, banking, time and handling costs in processing orders.  We PAY fees to your card issuer when your card is charged.  Card issuer fees are non refundable to us.  Unfortunately we must charge you these fees to prevent a loss on any processed canceled order.  All terms are final with no exceptions. Please be sure you want the items before placing any special or regular order, and understand all terms.  Thank you for understanding.

All of the above policies are necessary in order for us to keep our prices as low as possible for all customers.  Please be sure you want it BEFORE placing an order.  Thank you!   

Return Policy:

 ALL SALES ARE FINAL. 

 RETURNS--- In order to keep our prices as low as possible, and to insure that our customers receive only the finest quality, new, unused products, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.  Exchanges or store credits are at the sole discretion of management and only apply to new, unused and uninstalled merchandise. 

Please be sure you have ordered the correct item BEFORE placing your order.    Please read all terms and policies including the canceled order policy before placing an order.  Thanks for listening. 

Warranty:

All warranties on any product, or products and services, are those of the manufacturer.    Racer X hereby expressly disclaims any warranties, either express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.    Racer X neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for any liability in connection with the sale of equipment, including any accidental or consequential damages that may occur arising from, or in connection with the installation or use of any product purchased.  This disclaimer in no way affects the provisions of a manufacturer's warranties. Return shipping costs for warranty service are the buyers responsibility. The customer agrees to accept full responsibility for any consequential damages or liabilities, indemnifying Seller, upon purchase and installation of any products.  This includes all use of purchased products in a competition, high performance (or any street driven vehicle operated in an illegal manner) and shall indicate an awareness that the customer is modifying said vehicle for competition, and may operate it in a potentially hazardous environment.  Racer X is not responsible for loss or damage in shipment.  All claims for loss or damage must be filed with the applicable carrier.  Racer X will assist with carrier claims when applicable.  All shipments via US mail may not be insurable and are entirely at the full risk of the buyer.  Racer X will not pay for loss or damage by any carrier.
